Swami Nikhilananda

Swami Nikhilananda (1895–1973) was a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna and a monk of the Ramakrishna Order. He is best known for his English translations of Hindu scriptures, including the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads, as well as his biography of Sri Ramakrishna. He founded the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center in New York in 1933.
